Soccer
That is right... Soccer. I know some of you might find it hard to believe since Jer and I are big basketball people. However no one offers basketball for kids as young as three, so we had to go with soccer.
So in a few short words I will explain to you Hutson's first soccer practice. When Alex (my little brother) was younger he played T-ball, I think he was maybe 5-6 years old, and I can remember him sitting in the outfield, (yes sitting) and he would sift sand through the back of his baseball hat (they were those old school hats that had the mesh backs). He was so uninterested in anything to do with the game. That was Hutson. He just kind of wandered around the field doing his own thing. I'm sure you guys can picture me busting the vein in my forehead due to frustration... we have 7 more Saturdays of Soccer, hopefully it will get better. I'll keep you posted.
requisite action shot...
team huddle to go over rules... (yeah we didn't follow a one of them)
Kaine and Kaleb Kozloski's birthday party!
Saturday after practice we got to hang out with the Kozloski boys at the fire station for some pizza and cupcakes...yea! Wheeler refused to wear the hat and he was petrified when they turned the truck sirens on, poor guy.
Birthday boy Kaine is the tallest one in the middle, and birthday boy Kaleb is in the red on the left. Hutson and Kaleb are only 6 days apart and Kaine is 13 months older than the two of them.
There have been several posts today so if you think you missed one, you can catch up here for Hutson's Birthday... and here for We're Alive.
Hutson's third Birthday
Hutson turned three! Yes three. I can't really believe that I have a three year old, that I haven't had a job outside of my house for three years. That I have lived in our house for three years and some rooms are still completely undecorated and yes I still have a few boxes to unpack. But back to Hutson... we had a party, it was great! Everything was construction themed and yellow and black. We had a bounce house and tons of trucks/tractors to play with, and of course we had cupcakes. Here are a few shots of the party...
some perfectly matched flowers that Jerbear picked up for me to put out...
Our traffic sign inspired banner and cupcake mountain
Hutson's cupcake had three little cones on it...
Some yummy lemonade in my new drink dispenser I got for Christmas...
We're ALIVE!
I know it is hard to believe that we are alive since it has been so long since our last post. Sorry about that. I have 3 weeks worth of pictures to sort through, but here are few to keep you sitting pretty until I can finish and write a more complete post.

My little basketball player...
You would think this post would be about Hutson, since it was his 3rd birthday this week and HE is the one that got a basketball hoop from Grammy Donna and Papa Jerry. However, my little baller is Wheeler... he LOVES to slam dunk! Hut loves his new hoop and ball and is quite good at scoring (we have the hoop lowered quite a bit...), but Wheeler screams 'DUNK' over and over until you pick him up and let him dunk, and then he wants to do it another 12x in a row...
Jerbear caught an earlier flight tonight and is home, so I'm going to go snuggle in my favorite corner of the couch with him and watch some tv before he falls asleep, I'm surprised he has made it this late already!
Evee came over to play for the afternoon... Wheeler loves Evee. He just follows her around and gives her hugs...
Sometimes she isn't so into it...
I know that I haven't gotten around to doing a birthday post for Hutson yet, I am denial that he is THREE! I'll get there sooner or later. But, we did have a great party, everyone had lots of fun and lots of sugar. We just wanted to thank everyone who sent cards and gifts as well, we are very lucky to have so much family and friends near and far that love us so much.

Dallas Zoo
For Alex's birthday we headed to the Dallas Zoo as one BIG happy family (well Jeff had to work, so we were minus one)...
Several posts...
So I am several posts behind... we are going to start the day with pictures from two Wednesdays ago when we got to play with Papa at the ranch.
The trampoline is always a big hit!
Stay tuned for zoo pictures followed by birthday pictures!
