neglected...

yes.. this poor little blog of mine has been severely neglected, like if they had a CPS to protect blogs, say a BPS, this blog would have been taken away a long time ago... thank goodness there isn't one.  I'm not gonna say we have been busy, because I'm pretty sure everyone I know is 'crazy busy', so lets just say nothing and get to the pictures that everyone comes here for anyway...

our sunset walks now have to happen an hour earlier... I'm totally okay with it too.  :)

Hope everyone out there is doing well- sorry we have been somewhat absent from the blog world lately.  Lots happening around here.

Wheeler.

Oh Wheeler... my little love.

This little man is three years old.  I can't believe it.  He is the sweetest and most generous little man you have ever met.  Anytime we go to the store without Hutson, on Tue/Thurs, he is always picking out treats and toys for Hutson for when we pick him up.  He always shares his toys without asking.  If Hutson wants something that Wheeler has he just freely gives it up to make him happy.  He gives hugs and kisses freely, and loves to snuggle at bedtime.  

He wants to play baseball just like his brother and wants so badly to be in the same class and go to school everyday, just like Hutson.  

He is in a gymnastics class now- he loves it.  It really helps with coordination and movement.  His favorite part is the trampoline and the foam pit of course.  Plus it is something that he gets to do alone with mommy.  

He has the same blue eyes as his daddy, and is full of personality just like him too.  

We are fully potty trained now.. YEA!  Only pull-ups for night time.  I can handle this.  It makes my life significantly easier.

Homeboy has some crazy handwriting skills... He is way more skilled at fine motor skills than his older brother.  He can write his name very clearly and names all of his letters and their sounds like a machine.  Loves workbook pages to practice his letters and numbers and any kind of ipad app that has matching activities.

He recently had his 3 year old check up.  He got an A+ on everything, he is perfectly healthy and well on his way developmentally.  They only thing that caught my eye was that for height he came in a 80%.  Most would think that is great and he is taller than average, however, it caught my eye because every child (mine and my brothers kids) in my family has always been in the 90-100% or off the charts in the height department.  I can't believe he is such an under-achiever in this department!  Although we did come in at 95% for weight.  :)

Poor Wheeler doesn't really get any new clothes, not that HE cares...  As soon as it is too small for Hutson- it goes straight to Wheeler's dresser.  His shirt is a 3T and those shorts are a 5T, and that hat, yeah that is from the kids section and it is a M/L, I can almost wear it.  My littlest man sure has one big noggin...

My little dude... man is he cute or what?

Hutson and I were playing around with the remote for the camera- we had some interesting shots and definitely a LOT that were completely blurry... but this one was pretty cute.  Even though you can't see his smile, you can see it in his eyes...

 and after having played with the camera and computer a bit, I have decided I definitely like photos of me in black and white....  hides a lot of little wrinkles!

It's nap time now, so I really should be doing something productive around the house and then we are off to the gym- it's SPRINT day!    Happy Wednesday!

April...

Every couple of months I try to get some just plain, clean, head shots of the boys.  Since we just got haircuts I thought it was the perfect time to set them down and snap a few...

I also have been trying to go fully manual with the camera, and I have to say I think these turned out alright.  The last couple of posts- the pics have been taken in Manual mode.  There are definitely times when it is easier to shoot in Auto or even in a priority setting, but manual is definitely more satisfying knowing that you manhandled that camera and pushed it to do what you wanted it to do.

Happy Thursday!  We have a play date this morning and then tonight mama is off to see the Hunger Games and I am SO EXCITED!  I am ditching the JerBear and have a date with an old friend who will be just as excited as me, whew.  I LOVED the books.  If you haven't read them, do it, like now.  You will breeze through them in no time.  I am sure after seeing the movie I will have to read all three again just so I can compare and figure out if they left anything out.
