Easter...

There were quite a few pictures to choose from and I didn't want you guys to go into overload on the amount of adorable pictures I could have posted... so the rest of them are going to be here.  Check 'em out!

We had a great Easter.  We started out the morning right with some candy from the Easter Bunny, then we headed right out to the 7:45 am service at church, and then helped out in the childcare center for the second service.  This year the whole family and Tiff's family gathered at Tiffany and Alex's new house for lunch and an egg hunt.  The kids were definitely more into the hunt this year.  Lily was a maniac finding as many as she could and stock piling in her basket, while Hutson had to stop and open and eat after each egg was found.  Wheeler went looking with daddy and came out with quite a haul, and Evee gathered eggs and danced around the yard in her adorable Easter dress.  Tiff and Alex cooked a delicious ham and a brisket and it was a great afternoon!

Again more pictures posted here.

Feeding the horses...

Right outside our neighborhood is a place that boards horses.  We pass it daily.  Hutson is obsessed.  He makes us buy big bushels of carrots at Costco so we can feed the horses.  His favorite are the Police horses that get boarded there, one in particular is named Citation, he gets a lot of carrots.

Wheeler was a little apprehensive about feeding the horses...

Hutson was not.... he couldn't have been happier.

To Portland and back...

We are back.  In our short break from blogging we managed to head up to Portland and back.  Jerry's Grandpa Fred (who is 95) isn't doing so well and we wanted to make sure we got in a little time with him, and that he got to see the boys.  This was a short trip by our normal standards as we usually spend 12-14 days there, but 6 days was good and just what everyone needed.

Here are a couple photos of Easton and Emersen...  Hutson loved hanging around with his older cousins and tried to do everything they were doing.  I was also able to tag along to Em's ballet class, which was adorable.  I mean can a bunch of 4-5 girls doing ballet in tutu's get any cuter..?

We are getting back into the swing of things, and back on schedule.  It is always a little rough coming back from the west coast with the boys- it takes a couple of days to get back on a good sleep schedule.

More pictures to come from our short trip to Ptown...

Cousins...

Hutson and Wheeler are so lucky to have so many cousins, and 3 of which live very close.  I love that when we all get together it feels like a party even though it is just the immediate family.  I wish that it would be possible for all of our family to live near us, we always miss those who are far away.

Yesterday we had a little impromptu family gathering, and the kids had a blast.  We invested in a new sandbox and water table over the weekend and it got put to work yesterday.

Bath time!  We had to wash off all the sand...

chalk...

we love sidewalk chalk!  We really enjoy outlining dead bodies on the driveway.  I have about 6 outlines going on right now.

oh and we finally found a pair of boots that fit Wheeler's fat flintstone feet... check 'em out!

and this is what happens when our younger brother muscles the blue chalk out of our hands...

please forgive me...

I am trying to change the look of the blog around a bit and until I can get it right it will look a little off... Sorry.  I'm sure the only person it bothers is me, but whatever.

Here are a few of our lovely neighbor ladies... some of my favorite of them to date.

Someday this little sprite will be my daughter-in-law... yep you read right.  I have gone and arranged a marriage... and I will even let her choose which son.  She is one year younger than Hutson and 7 months older than Wheeler, so she can choose.
