Playing on the couch

We got our new couch the other day!  yea!  It has been about a 5 month wait so it was nice to finally have it.  Hutson loves it, he likes to run around on it from one end to the other.  He has been having a good time having his Grandpa and Grandma visit him from Portland.  Here are a few pics from last nights antics.

Lily's First Birthday Party

Lily's first birthday was on May 19th and we attended her party yesterday, it was a great time!  It was outside at a park with several ponds, Hutson had lots of fun.  Lee made a great Lilybug cake and cupcakes, and plenty of people turned up to help Lily celebrate.

Looking up at Daddy and the camera and finally a picture of me, probably about the only one that will be put on here, but here one is.

Beautiful Day

Yesterday was a beautiful day outside, sunny and only about 75 degrees!  We spent most of the day outside playing or working.  Okay okay, I won't claim to have done any work, but there were others doing work.  I prefer to supervise.  Donna and I took Hutson on a nice wagon ride up and down the street, and we played in the hose of course.  We put all the markers in our garden so I know what herbs are what.  We also enjoyed a few of our own blueberries!!  yea!  They were delicious...  can't wait for more.

The dogs and cat were also enjoying the nice weather.  Roosevelt likes to play with Waylon, Waylon doesn't so much like Roosevelt.

Just playing in the driveway, and then relaxing with a drink in our lawn chair!

Cousin Lily came to visit for dinner.

Cool Whip

So Grandpa and Grammy Clayton arrived on Friday night.  We were all very excited to see them.  I had a wedding on Saturday night and left Hutson with Jerry and his parents, and the following pictures are evidence of what happens when the cat is away.... it is very clear that the mice will play.

Here Hutson is asking for more cool whip, which I am sure he got on his Jell-O for dessert.

Here Jerry decided to let him indulge a bit... his daddy is a big softy and is putty in H's hands.

And this is what happens when everyone turns their heads... thank goodness Donna was there to provide me with some photographic evidence..  :)

At least they made him work it off after a bath and change of clothes.  Here H is helping Grandpa measure for trim.  He may need his own tool set soon...

Stay tuned for more adventures with Grandpa and Grammy Clayton in town!

Lasagna!!

More fun with the hose today.  I think that I am going to have to wash laundry a little more often if daddy keeps letting him play in the water and mud every night.  Made lasagna tonight, it was delicious!  Hutson loves lasagna and he loves to feed it to the dogs.  Not really too much to say today, we are anxiously awaiting the arrival of the Claytons on Friday and then Great Papa and Grandma next week, and of course Miss Ashley next week too!  Lots of visitors and we couldn't be more excited.

Hose Installment #2

Here we are eating lasagna.  The second picture is of Hutson using the sign for 'more', he loves his food!

I know this picture is blurry, but he was having such a good time.  Him and Jer were playing a little game we like to call 'magic man'.

The Hose

We are very fascinated with water lately.  We love the hose, pool, sink, shower, toilets and sprinklers.  For those of you who have been to our house you know that we don't have doors or curtains on our showers, you just walk in, and that is exactly what Hutson does, fully dressed.  We have to play in a different part of the house if one of us is shower.  It is pretty cute, however I will not be taking pictures of that for obvious reasons.  :)

Yesterday we played outside before dinner.  We figured out that water and dirt make mud, and we love mud.  There are quite a few pictures today as I took over a 100 and could not narrow it down to just a few.

Here we just discovered that the hose was running....

Here we are playing on the bench with Daddy.  Jer is trying to get Hutson to look at me so we can get a good picture, but I just end up catching them both pointing at the camera...

Here we are eating dirt that we found in a bucket... mmmm mmm

Now Jer is trying to get Hutson to drink some water to get all the dirt out of his mouth.  Needless to say he needed a bath and some clean clothes after this little adventure which happened in less than 30 minutes.

Welcome Baby Evee!

Mothers day was a great day this year, we welcomed my niece to the world, Evee Bednar!  She was born Sunday May 10th, 2009 at 6:06pm.  She weighed in at 8 lbs 12 oz. and 21 inches long.  She is gorgeous!  Tiffany and Evee are doing great and will be going home from the hospital tomorrow.  Hutson and I were up there waiting with all of our family and Tiffany's family yesterday, Hutson got very excited when he saw Alex in the nursery with Evee.  We will take some more pictures when we go visit them at home this week.  For more pictures now please check out my mom's website, she has pictures of Evee right after birth.

Baby #2

We went to the Dr. last friday for a check up on baby #2, name yet to be determined although we are leaning towards Timothy Wheeler.  Hutson does not really like being in the sonogram room with the lights off, we had to bribe him with fruit snacks.  Jer was very good he didn't make too many bad jokes due to being nervous and he handled Hutson very well.  Everything looks good with the baby and it looks like we will be meeting him around August 22nd.  There are lots of birthdays that month maybe he will end up doubling up with someone, which is always fun.  Here are some of the Sono pictures, it seems he has a very large foot, I am hoping there are no size 17's in his future like his Grimpa has.

Lazy

Ok Ok so I haven't posted for awhile.  But I did try last saturday and we had this crazy storm roll in on us and our power went out as I was uploading the photos.  Our power stayed out for almost 2 hours.  It was a little sad but Jerry and I didn't really know what to do with our selves with out tv, computer, my phone was dead and couldn't charge it.  We ended up playing some scrabble, my favorite game, and I have to say he was ahead when we quit.  He can't clam a win though because we quit before we had time to finish the whole game.... (I maintain that I would have won if given the chance).  That saturday I was going to post some pictures of Jer's lovely garden.  So here they are....  Oh and our blueberry bushes have lots of little blueberries on them!  yea!
