It is unfortunate that I can't get Hutson anywhere near Wheeler for a picture or two. argh. So until that day arrives I guess I will just have to rotate whose picture I put up for posts. Today I took some pictures of our perfect little baby, he is so good. He sleeps, eats, poops and sleeps. Today we had a 4 1/2 hour nap!!! whoohoo.

My little man loves water. He can't go outside without running towards the pool. When we go for a walk by the lake he says 'wawa' over and over again. To ease our minds a bit about the pool Jerry got him a blow-up pool for the driveway for him to play in, he of course loves it.
GrAndi stayed with us through the weekend, thank goodness. She was able to help out tremendously with Hutson who is a little disjointed at the new addition to the fam. I did manage to get one picture of Hutson near Wheeler and as you can see below he doesn't look so thrilled.

Timothy Wheeler Clayton
Born 8/19/09 @ 12:07 pm
8lbs 5 oz and 21 inches
Sorry I know I should have posted from the hospital or something but here is Wheeler's first post. I was scheduled to be induced on Wednesday morning at 630am, but Wheeler beat us to it, I started having contractions on Tuesday night at about 10 pm and then went in to the hospital at about 530 am. Both my boys have now kept me up all night with contractions before they have made their appearance, I am going to have to have a chat with them about that. But they were both kind to make their deliveries a piece of cake. I won't go into any details, but Wheeler arrived in under 7 min, and Hutson was about 10 min or so.
Wheeler is doing awesome, he is a good sleeper and a good eater. We got home from the hospital yesterday afternoon and are enjoying being home. Hutson is a little wary of his new brother and has been a bit cranky the last couple of days, but I guess that is to be expected considering his whole world just changed and he had no say in it. He wants to touch the baby, and he will give his brother a kiss, but he doesn't like it when you are holding the baby and not playing with him. This could be a long road.

Miss Ashley Burleson turns the big 2-7 tomorrow, and since I will be otherwise occupied most of the day I wanted to make sure that she got her birthday wishes today. Ashley and I met in 8th grade when we moved to Texas, we played on the same basketball team. That was like 13 or 14 years ago! Crazy how time flies. I wish I was there (LA) or she was here so we could celebrate together, but thats life.
Ash- I hope that you have a great birthday and enjoy your cake!!
9th grade bus ride to a basketball tourny. Ash jammin' out.
I'm not sure what summer was this was, I think we were 15. Yes we were on a team called the 'Scream Team', and we were not good.
On our trip to Amsterdam to visit the Burlesons
One of the only pictures I have of us when we lived together, I am pretty sure there is a good reason for not having any pictures, no evidence.
At our wedding. Those of you who were there at that bar know how things went down.

We got a haircut!!!!! Today I took Hutson to get his first haircut. It was finally time, he has been sporting a pretty rockin' mullet for some time now, I thought it looked cool with his retro shades and cut off tshirts, but we were starting to get looks in the stores. He was a good little trooper through the process and got to ride in a wicked race car. Most of his curls are gone, but we knew that was going to happen, maybe they will come back, I am keeping my fingers crossed. He looks more like a little boy and less like my baby today. I can't believe how big he is getting. We were at dinner the other night and our waitress told us that he was bigger than her 3 year old!
For those of you keeping track, I am still pregnant and not in labor yet, and I am starting to get annoyed. Everyone may want to steer clear of me until Wheeler gets here. :) I am hoping we get to meet him soon.

Happy 39th Birthday Donna!
I know its late in the day- but I wanted to make sure that we wished Donna a Happy Birthday today! She is 39 years young today, but doesn't look a day over 30. Here is a great picture of Donna and Hutson taken last July.
Donna hope you had a great day and we will see you in about 3 weeks.

So I received quite a heavy package from the mail lady the other day- and it was clinking on the inside. The return address was Astoria, Oregon, so I knew it was either something Jerry ordered from home or something The Claytons had sent us. I opened the box and to my wonderful surprise was 24 cans of the best tuna ever!!! This tuna is canned right in Astoria and I have had it when we have been up there a couple of times- it seriously tastes way better than the stuff at the grocery store. For those of you who know me well know that I lOVE TUNA! Ashley and Kim can attest to the fact that I can and will eat it pretty much everyday if given the option. My little man Hutson can also put back a little tuna salad. This was a great gift- THANK YOU CLAYTONS!
I was watching the Antiques Roadshow the other day (one of my favorite shows) and this lady had brought in this amazing Andy Warhol poster-which reminded me how much I like his work. So he was my inspiration for stacking the cans and taking pictures... (think the campbell soup prints). Here is my second real go-round with Photoshop- which I have had since Christmas and have not had the time to really play with it. Enjoy!
Also - want to throw a shout out of Happy Anniversary to a good friend (you know who you are). 1 year today! yea!
